Building durable, explosive athletes
Strength & Conditioning
Long-term physical development that builds durable, powerful athletes without rushing the process.
Physical development in youth football takes time. Our strength and conditioning work is built around long-term athletic development: movement quality, strength, and power, without overloading a body that isn't ready for it.
We start with movement — how a player squats, jumps, lands, changes direction — before any real load goes on top. Get that right early, and the harder work later has something solid to build on.
Programming is age- and stage-appropriate, and it changes as a player develops. What suits a 12-year-old looks nothing like what a 17-year-old needs. We also track how a player responds over time, since fatigue and growth affect how much a body can take in a given week.
Done properly, strength and conditioning is one of the best tools we have for cutting injury risk, which is why it sits inside the same team as physiotherapy rather than running separately.

Composition
- Long-term athletic development, not short-term overload
- Age- and stage-appropriate programming
- Movement quality and injury resilience built in from the start
- Programming coordinated with the physiotherapy team
How it works
- 01
We assess movement quality first: how a player squats, jumps, lands, and changes direction.
- 02
Programming is built around that assessment and the player's age and stage of development, not a generic template.
- 03
Load gets added progressively once movement patterns are sound, building strength and power on a solid base.
- 04
We monitor how a player responds over time and adjust as fatigue, growth, or match congestion change what a body can handle.
