US Soccer Scholarships is EFC's dedicated pathway into funded US college football, open to any player aged 15 to 19 with the ability and academic standing to pursue it seriously.
We host US Showcase Events for this age group, giving players the chance to be seen directly by college coaches and recruiters. This runs alongside recruitment profile support, scholarship guidance, and placement support through to a confirmed offer.
Players coming through the 16–19 Programme have a natural route in, since much of the groundwork is already in place. Coming through the programme isn't a requirement, though. Any player aged 15 to 19 with genuine ambitions in US college football can apply.
The process is genuinely selective on the US side. College coaches have a limited number of scholarship places and specific needs each recruiting cycle, and we're direct with players and families about where they realistically stand.

How it works

A player aged 15 to 19 joins US Soccer Scholarships, either progressing from the 16–19 Programme or applying directly with genuine ambitions in US college football.

We assess the player's football level and academic standing honestly, so the route we map out from here is realistic, not just aspirational.

We build a recruitment profile: football ability, academic record, and footage, in the exact format US college coaches expect to see.
- 04
The player attends US Showcase Events, performing in front of college coaches and recruiters in person, while the recruitment profile is circulated to relevant programmes at the same time.

As coaches respond, we manage contact on the player's behalf, following the etiquette of US recruitment so the first impression with a programme is the right one.

When offers start to come in, we guide the player and family through what's realistic, how the scholarship funding actually works, and how each offer compares.

We help the family weigh up multiple offers against playing time, coaching staff, academic fit, and programme culture, then support the practical steps of securing the place.

EFC stays involved after the player commits, supporting the transition into US college football and college life rather than stepping back once the offer is signed.
